May 2006 - present    Transcription, logging and assisting story editors at Pilgrim Films and Television for shows including 'Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe' on the Discovery Channel, 'The Ultimate Fighter 4' on Spike TV and 'Ghost Hunters' on Sci Fi among others.

Oct. 2005 - March 2006    Transcription/Logging for 'Tuckerville' on TLC for GRB Entertainment digitizing, dubbing and logging footage, transcribing interviews, assisting story editors with clip searches and recording voiceovers for story pitches.

April 2004 - December 2004    Associate Producer for Martin-Calvert Productions researching, writing, casting, and assisting first producer and field producers with the new series 'Vacation Challenge’ for the Discovery Network/Travel Channel. 

Dec. 2002 - 2005    Reception, clerical and office assistant positions through Apple One Employment Services.  Placement responsibilities included answering multiple phone lines, data entry, transcription, word processing, updating filing systems, copying, faxing, customer service etc. Mac and PC proficient, most comfortable in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Publisher with excellent Internet research ability. Clients included 30/60 Design; Point 360 Burbank; Academy of Television Arts and Sciences; Xytech; Hoshino USA among others.

January 2004    Assistant to Mary Ramos music supervisor and owner of Saturday Music, Inc.;   Responsibilities included answering phones, Internet research, receiving music submissions, archiving, ripping and burning CD's for distribution to producers, directors and talent for major motion pictures and television including 'Kill Bill Vol. 2' and 'Be Cool'.

July 2003    Second assistant to Karey Burke and Jamie Tarses at 'The Untitled Burke-Tarses Project'. I provided materials and phone support to Shana Waterman, first assistant and managed the script library, receiving, copying, proofing, re-sending, labeling and organizing scripts, books and reels as they came in. I provided research and contacted major literary and talent agents in the heat of 'pitch' season as well as received high profile clients for in-house pitches and meetings.

April 2003    Casting Associate at Evolution Film & Tape, I researched and real people scouted for TLC show, 'Clean Sweep'. Cold calling and implementing advertising, and location scoutings, I set up interviews in cluttered couples homes, taped and photographed them and prepared architectural renderings of their rooms.

March 2003    Casting associate with Sheila Conlin CD, for Lisa Bourgoujian, co-executive Producer at LMNO Productions, for an ABC Family show in development I researched and real people scouted for Cowboys across the country. Location castings and in-house casting sessions included coordinating venues, receiving clients and talent, photographing and interviewing talent, organizing the books, and equipment for the road.

97-2002    Casting assistant to Barbara Shelton, owner of BABS CASTING in Minneapolis; a full service film, television, commercial and print casting company. Responsibilities included answering multiple phone lines, copying, faxing and filing. Also contacting talent agencies, real people talent searches, organizing, coordinating and receiving clients and talent at in-office or on location castings often replete with craft services.

2000-2002    Production manager for Mystery Cafe responsibilities included contacting and coordinating the venue, clients and actors, setting up production equipment, costumes and props, running lights and sound cue to cue, and coordinating evenings of interactive comedy/mystery theater, food and beverage service all across greater Minnesota.

93-2003    Artistic Director/Educator with Angel City Improv
I researched, marketed and directed a program of improv workshops, classes and long-term residencies and teacher in-services for Elementary, Middle, Jr. High and High Schools, libraries, community centers and private arts in education organizations across greater Minnesota and now in the Los Angeles area.

91-1996    I helped to renovate, The Bryant-Lake Bowl, a 90 seat cabaret style theater, restaurant and 1950's bowling alley. I also produced, directed, and hosted Katie's Cabaret an interactive improvisational theater performance for kids which ran for nine consecutive seasons.

84-1991    Co-owned and operated KITCHEN with Stuart Tarabour of the Bright Food Shop 218 8th Avenue NYC. Experience included renovation and all aspects of operating a take-out and delivery food shop.

I am a consummate professional with integrity and good intuition.  I have great phone, PC, and Mac skills, am a quick study, and will not hesitate to ask for clarification when necessary. My attention to detail and creative problem solving abilities are often complimented. I take direction well, and enjoy new challenges.
